RallyUniverse Zrt. is dedicated to designing and executing bold, transcontinental rally adventures. We create unique, culturally rich routes that challenge both man and machine—while connecting people across borders.
Our flagship project, the Budapest–Baghdad–Salalah Rally, takes participants on a 10,000+ km odyssey from the heart of Europe to the Arabian Sea. It’s not a race. It’s a test of will, curiosity, and the love of the open road.
We’re not just organizers—we’re rally veterans, desert riders, and freedom seekers. Our company was founded to bring epic routes, real challenges, and meaningful experiences to fellow thrill-seekers around the world.
From route design and logistics to border permissions, partner coordination, and media coverage—we handle every detail. RallyUniverse is your behind-the-scenes engine, powering epic journeys with Swiss-watch precision.
At RallyUniverse Zrt., we believe that the world is meant to be explored—not through package tours and paved highways, but by carving bold new paths across deserts, mountains, and cultural frontiers. We are a Budapest-based rally organization company born from real-world experience: our founders are adventurers who’ve conquered Africa’s toughest rallies and know what it takes to create life-changing overland experiences. Our flagship project, the Budapest–Baghdad–Salalah Rally, is a daring 7,000 km journey that rewrites what’s possible—uniting countries, people, and machines in a shared spirit of discovery. RallyUniverse is more than a company. It’s a movement, a mindset, and a logistical powerhouse for those who dream in dirt and diesel.
Dr. Zoltán Aszodi is a seasoned off-road racer, expedition leader, and the founder of the Budapest–Baghdad–Salalah Rally. With a background in meteorology and a PhD in economics, he brings a rare blend of scientific precision and real-world grit to every kilometer of the route. Having led multiple expeditions across the Middle East and North Africa, Zoltán understands the terrain, the cultures, and the mindset needed to traverse them. His vision for the BBS Rally goes beyond borders—it's about building a route where adventure, safety, and cultural respect travel side by side.
Viktor Somogyi is the man behind the digital and technical backbone of the BBS Rally. With almost two decades of experience in software development, cloud infrastructure, and IT security, Viktor is responsible for turning ambitious rally concepts into working, real-world systems. From building tracking platforms and participant portals to managing route logistics, communication tools, and data security, his work happens mostly behind the scenes — but without it, there would be no rally. A passionate overlander and adventure rider himself, Viktor understands that in remote environments, technology has to be simple, reliable, and bulletproof.
We don’t choose routes based on popularity. We choose them based on wonder. Mountains, deserts, ancient cities — we go where others don’t, because that’s where the stories are.
Every route passes through real communities. We believe in responsible travel — respectful, low-impact, and deeply curious about the lives we briefly intersect.
We’re not tour operators. We’re rally veterans, overlanders, and expedition builders. We’ve slept in our cars, fixed axles in sandstorms, and shared meals with nomads.
Freedom doesn’t mean chaos. Our trips are carefully planned with safety, logistics, and flexibility in mind — so you can focus on the experience, not the stress.
